Over her decorated career, Nean discovered not only a passion for proper hair care but techniques and proven methods in which to educate novice stylists. While working with many beginner beauticians she noticed the disconnect most new stylists experienced from what they retained in their formal education to real world applications.
Even more, Ginette struggled when instructing her staff on the Ivory Coast to grasp cosmetology concepts because many of her employees were illiterate. These experiences combined with her desire to educate, inspire, and groom future entrepreneurs in the cosmetology industry inspired Ginette to create Cosmetology Virtual.
PROJECT MISSION
The goal of Cosmetology Virtual is to create an online cosmetology platform for my salon staff and for others. By creating entertaining videos that have a documentary style presentation Nean aims to capture the attention of young stylists as well as provide them with captivating instruction. Her hope is for the platform to go beyond her own salon and lead stylists to a better understanding of the fundamentals of cosmetology.
